Most people will agree that the kitchen and bathroom are the two most important rooms of the house. In this blog we are going to focus on the bathroom.
The homeowner in this case saved themselves some money by chipping in with their own elbow grease and a magic eraser to polish up the existing tub. With the updated tile surround, the bathtub looks like new!
While bathrooms come in all sizes, a small bathroom makeover can be completed in one to two weeks. Even a small bathroom can be a welcomed retreat with a quick and easy makeover.
This budget wise makeover is the perfect example. Here was the scope of work:
- Disconnect and remove existing toilet, vanity, vanity light, and tub/shower faucet
- Demolish tub surround and old wall board and replace it with new cement board and tile walls
- Demolish existing flooring and repair sub-floor beneath toilet
- Install new floor tile, vanity, sink, faucet, toilet, tub-shower faucet, and light fixture
